Carlos Dwayne Cleveland obit

MILLEDGEVILLE — Funeral services for Mr. Carlos Dwayne Cleveland will be held on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, from the Chapel of All Faiths with viewing from 11 a.m. until the noon funeral hour. Interment will follow in Scenic Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Cleveland of 408 J.F. Hall Road, Gordon, passed away on Saturday at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elnetra Cleveland of Gordon; children, Deasia Simmons, Shekyra Hightower, Montavious Harris, all of Milledgeville, Jalen Cleveland, Karlecia Cleveland, and Jayden Cleveland, all of Gordon; one grandchild; parents, Mrs. Louvenia May Glenn of Milledgeville; step-mothers, Mrs. Margaret Hogan and Mrs. Sandra Cleveland, both of Milledgeville; grandparents, Mrs. Vera May of Stevens Pottery and Mrs. Carrine Robinson of Milledgeville; one sister, Ms. ShaDra Cleveland of Milledgeville; brothers, Mr. Antonio Cleveland ( Ebony) of Kuwait, Mr. Clifford Hogan (Sharon), Mr. Brad Hogan, both of Seattle, Wash., and Mr. Dwayne Johnson of Milledgeville; and a host of other relatives.

A family hour will be held from 6 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater’s Funeral Home Inc.

Friends may visit the family at the residence.

Words of sympathy may be expressed at Slater’s Funeral Home Inc. has charge of local arrangements.
