MILLEDGEVILLE — Celebration of life for Mrs. Claudette Williams of Milledgeville will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Services will be held at The Augustus Austin Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home beginning at 11:30 a.m. with the interment to follow at Una Memorial Cemetery.

Claudette retired from Central State Hospital after years of devoted service as a food service supervisor. Claudette was summoned by her Lord on Friday, March 14, 2014. She leaves behind to mourn: one daughter, Alicia Johnson of Macon; three sons, Cedric (Dorothy) Johnson of Macon, Everett (Antoinette)Williams of Milledgeville and Ceciro (Dietrich) Williams of Macon;one brother, Elijah (Rosa Mae) Johnson Jr. of Milledgeville; one sister, Evelena (Jessie) Cummings of Milledgeville; devoted aunt, Hattie B. Williams; dear friends, Shirley Townsend and Roxie Cleveland; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Joseph Williams; parents, Elijah and Catherine Johnson Sr.; two brothers, Ambrose Myrick and Kenneth Satcher.
