La’Wanna Whitehead Prescott

MILLEDGEVILLE — La’Wanna Whitehead Prescott, 39, passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011.

The family will receive friends at Northside Baptist Church, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, with the service to follow at 3 p.m. Dr. Jerry Pickard will officiate.

Mrs. Prescott was born in Laurens County and lived in Warner Robins and Milledgeville before making her home in Gray. She was employed with The Jones Center in Macon. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Bracewell Whitehead. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tracy Prescott of Gray; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Prescott; her father, Bert R. Whitehead and special friend, Mary Harnage, of Warner Robins; a sister, Renee Edgeworth (Chris) of Warner Robins; her mother-in-law, Mary Prescott of Milledgeville; brothers-in-law, Rodney, Joey and Timmy Prescott; nieces, Erica, Ashley and Chelcey Edgeworth; other special family friends, Teresa, Mike, Ron and Rob Harnage; and her cherished pets, Jake, Harley and Choxie.
