MILLEDGEVILLE — IVEY - Gene Adrain Vance, 75, of Jackson Road passed away Thursday at his residence.

 Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Snow Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Freddie Hogg and Dr. Bob Murphy will officiate.

 Mr. Vance was born in Kilsyth, W. Wa., the son of the late Oakley and Goldie S. Vance.

He was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Vance was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Gordon Masonic Lodge No. 240 and was a member of the Ivey Baptist Church.

 Survivors include his wife, Claudette G. Vance; daughter, Lisa (Clint) Dykes; son, Tracy (Elizabeth) Vance; brother, Robert Vance; grandson, Brett Dykes; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in Snow Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ivey Baptist Church Building Fund or to the donor's favorite charity.
