MILLEDGEVILLE — Virginia Bryan Bellflower, 87, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Bellflower was a native of Milledgeville and lived in Fort Valley where she was the owner of the Slumber Shop for many years before returning to Milledgeville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Newt and Thelma Leverett Bryan, and her husband, Charles Joseph Bellflower. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Joe Bellflower (Joyce) and Jesse Michael Bellflower both of Milledgeville; a daughter, Dale Seagraves (Joe) of Cordova, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Jody Bellflower (Jill) of Milledgeville, Jay Bellflower (Jennifer) of Eastman, Dawn Dykes (Keylan) of Milledgeville, Josh Seagraves of Virginia Beach, Va. and Kelly Seagraves of Cordova, Tenn.; and eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Moores Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Faith Sunday School Class.
