Betty Ann Thompson

MILLEDGEVILLE — Betty Ann Thompson, 74, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Nunn-Wheeler Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Pickard officiating.

Ms. Thompson was a native of Wilkinson County but lived most of her life in Milledgeville. She was retired from Mohawk Industries. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas Thompson Sr. and Susie Frances Parham Thompson, and her three brothers, George Thompson Jr., Charles E. Thompson Sr. and Johnny Richard Thompson.

Survivors include two sisters, Irene Johnson (Jack) of Gray and Emma Walmsley (George) of Leesburg, Fla.; and nieces and nephews, Emily Estes and her daughter Michelle Epps, Karen Spivey and her daughter Katie, Debra Edwards, Denise Bartlett, Darrell Thompson, David Thompson, Dawn Dauer and Michelle Walmsley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice Care LLC, 2601 N. Columbia St., Milledgeville, GA 31061.
