MILLEDGEVILLE — Ret. Msgt. Joseph Charles Gorzinski, 55, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013. Memorial services will be conducted, Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville with the Rev. Mark Murphy officating.

The family will receive friends following the services at their residence. Mr. Gorzinski passed was the son of the late John Clarence Gorzinski and the late Rose Marie Samodral Gorzinski.  

He was a native of Marquette City, Mich., and had lived in Gordon since 2001. He retired from the U.S. Air Force following 20 years of service including serving in Operation Desert Storm. He was a member of Bridges of Hope Church.

Survivors include his son, David (Karen) Gorzinski of Warner Robins; stepsons, John (Sarah) Clark, Noah (Rachel) Clark and Donald (Jennifer) Clark; grandchildren, Brian Clark, Amber Clark and Adalyn Clark; companion Lynn Barton; sisters, Barbara, Patricia, and Brenda; and brothers, John, James and Bryan.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Hope Lodge, c/o the Joseph Gorzinski Heathcare Fund at the State Bank of Gray.
