MILLEDGEVILLE — Mrs. Genia J. Meeks, 77, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Milledgeville with the Rev. Danny Herron and the Rev. Paul Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. to receive friends. Mrs. Meeks was a native of Gainesville, Ga., and had lived in Baldwin County for most of her life.

She was the widow of David G. Meeks; daughter of the late Lewis Patrick Jones and Gladys Humphries Jones; and was preceded in death by a grandchild, Ashley Loggins.

She had retired from Madison Throwing Company and was a member of Four Square Gospel Church before joining Hillside Church of God.

She is survived by her children, Ronny Loggins, Deborah (Joey) Turner, David Dwight (Tammy) Meeks, and Charles Loggins, all of Milledgeville; sister, Patricia Anne Key of Douglasville; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-randchildren, two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
