Hilde Emmi Jackson

MILLEDGEVILLE — Hilde Emmi Jackson, 85, of Talking Rock (Jasper) passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Jackson enjoyed knitting, was a very good bowler and liked bingo, was very supportive of family, enjoyed time with her grandkids and loved her pet dogs.

Funeral services are scheduled for noon Friday, May 2, 2014, from the chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon  Friday, May 2, 2014 at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Okey H. Jackson Jr. who passed Jan. 15, 2008; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include:  sons, Ron (Debra) Jackson of Kennesaw, David (Pam) Jackson of Atlanta, Howie (Debbie) Jackson, St. Louis, Mo.; sisters, Emmy Baker of Milledgeville, Maria Muhlberger and Elizabeth Kaspura of Wiesbaden, Germany; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Flowers will be accepted or make a donation to charity of your choice in her memory.

South Canton Funeral Home is dedicated to the families it serves.
