Robert Jeffries

MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. Robert Lee Jeffries, 65, passed away on April 7, 2014.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11 o’clock at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Glover officiating.

Mr. Jeffries was a native of Farrar and had made his home in Milledgeville since 1982. He was the son of the late Rossie and Viola Wyatt Jeffries and had worked at Rheem Manufacturing before opening and starting his own business, Service One Janitorial Inc. He was a veteran of The United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine Finney Jeffries of Milledgeville; daughters, Monica Jeffries Reaves and Christina Jeffries Edwards (Gregory), both of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Paul Reaves and Jessica Edwards; sisters, Lizzie Green of Monticello and Shirley Stevens of Farrar; brother, Henry Jeffries (Louise) of Shady Dale; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Georgia War Veterans Home Activity Fund.
