MILLEDGEVILLE — Mrs. Colleen E. Moore Johnson, 80, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 1 p.m. in Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville with the Rev. David Artessa. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Anniston Memorial Gardens of Alabama.

The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m. to receive friends.

Mrs. Colleen Johnson was born and raised in Birmingham, Ala., had spent most of her adult life in Anniston, Ala., and moved to Milledgeville in 2008. She was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Moore and was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Johnson, and daughter, Jimmie Sue "Suzie" Johnson.

She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and AARP and was involved in the local churches and loved singing at the nursing homes.

She is survived by her children, Dorothy Eva Fields of Ala., Frank House Walthall III of Nevada, Alan Layton SMith (Debby) of Milledgeville, Julie Johnson (Benita McShan) of Roswell and Jeffery Ryan Smith (Patricia) of Hillsboro; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Milledgeville has charge of arrangements.
