John L. Mayo

MILLEDGEVILLE — Celebration of life for Mr. John L. Mayo of Haddock will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013. Services will begin 1 p.m. at County Line Missionary Baptist Church, 1015 Highway 49, Haddock,  with the interment following at the church cemetery. Remains will be placed in state at noon until the hour of service.

On Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013 John was called home to rest after 92 years of life.

His legacy of love will always be treasured and remembered in the hearts of his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Lucille Andrew Mayo of 63 years; sister in law, Helen Ward (Eatonton); distant cousins; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
