Marian Langford

MILLEDGEVILLE — Mrs. Marian Brookins Langford, 82, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Milledgeville with the Rev. Jody Branch officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 to receive friends.

Marian Brookins Langford was born on Jan. 7, 1932 to Dan and Bennie Johnson Brookins at Scott Hospital in Milledgeville. She made her home in Baldwin County for her entire life. She was preceded in death by her husband Horace S. Langford, whom she married on Jan. 18, 1952, parents, Dan and Bennie Brookins, and grandson, Brian Keith Pickman.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda L. Pickman, Joy (Jack) Bailey of Milledgeville and Cynthia (Ed) Boyer of Madison; sons, Danny (Yvonne) Langford and Jeff (Geraldine) Langford of Milledgeville; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; uncle, Dayton Clance; aunt, Kathleen Adams, all of Milledgeville; brother-in-law, Waldo Langford of South Carolina; special friends, Flo & Lamar Franks and Patsy and Al Matysiak; and caregiver and cousin Tracy Brookins.
