Willie Tennyson obit

MILLEDGEVILLE — Funeral services for Mr. Willie James Tennyson will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2013, from Chapel of All Faiths with  viewing from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral hour. Interment followed in  Heritage Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Tennyson passed away on Tuesday in a local  hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Catherine King Tennyson of Milledgeville; three daughters, Mrs. Lola Solomon (Rufus), Mrs. Cheryl Clayton (Torrik), Mrs. Celena Alexander (Darien), all of Milledgeville; five sons, Mr. Willie James Tennyson Jr. of Columbus, Ga., Mr. Artis Tennyson (Cepada) of Atlanta and Mr. L. Bernard Tennyson ( Latica), Mr. Darrin Tennyson ( Rachel), and Mr. Daniel Tennyson, all of Milledgeville; four sisters, Ms. Lisa Hicks of Macon, Mrs. Shirley McKelvin (Eddie) of Riviera Beach, Fla., Mrs. Alberta Walker (David) of Hephzibah, Ga., and Ms. Karen Thomas of Louisville, Ga.; brothers include: Mr. Leslie Tennyson Jr., Mr. Alfred Thomas ( Phyllis), both of Wadley, Mr. Willie James Williams, Mr. Alfonia Tennyson (Dorothy), both of Louisville, Mr. Willie Rogers Williams of Riviera Beach, Fla. and Mr. Ray Tennyson of Sandersville; 34 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

Friends may visit the family at the residence of Ms. Sheryl Clayton, 108 Fairfield Ave.
