MILLEDGEVILLE — Carl Edward Reddick, 86, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013. Service will be held at 11a.m. Friday, April 12, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Story officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.

Mr. Reddick was a native of Screven County but had made his home in Baldwin County for many years. He worked at J.P. Stevens/Forstmann as a lab supervisor for many years and later worked for The Union-Recorder. He w;as preceded in death by father, Carl Reddick; his mother, Pauline Davis Meads and his step-father Pilot Meads. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Eugenia Renfroe Reddick of Baldwin County: three sons, Charles P. Reddick (Hazel) of Augusta, George A. Reddick (Dawn) of Bonaire and Glenn E. Reddick (Lisa) of Baldwin County; a daughter, Wanda Kendell (John) of Australia; a sister, Beth Smith of Sardis, 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
