MILLEDGEVILLE — Celebrating the journey home for Ms. Lillie Bell Myrick will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 657 N.W. Old Monticello Road, Milledgeville. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. Remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m. until the service hour.

On Thursday, June 13, 2013 the Lord called Lillie home. She made Newark, N.J., her new home after leaving Milledgeville in 1963. Lillie was a devoted member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church all of her life.

She leaves a loving and devoted daughter to cherish her memory, Priscilla Myrick Mitchell of Myrtle Beach, S.S.; grandchildren, Kaneesha D' Nea Mitchell and Kilen Dontai' Mitchell; two sisters, Roxie Myrick of Newark, N.J., and Barbara (Elijah) Myrick Crocker of Ft. Valley; a brother, Timothy(Sandra) Myrick Jr. of Milledgeville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy Myrick Sr. and Maggie Reid Myrick.
