MILLEDGEVILLE — Bobby Jordan Spear, 75, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, June 22, 2013. Services will be held at 1 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Waers and the Rev. Jim Nipper officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Spear was a native and life-long resident of Milledgeville and was the owner of C&S Body Shop. He was a Mason, a member of the American Legion and a charter member of the Moose Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie L. and Mabel Knowles Spear, and a son, Danny Jordan Spear.

Mr. Spear was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Hardwick Christian Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 48 years, Mona Waid Spear of Milledgeville; his children, Lisa Spear of Macon, Robbie Spear of Milledgeville and Brian Spear (Shauna) of Locust Grove; two brothers, Jimmy E. Spear and Ricky Spear (Margie), both of Milledgeville; four sisters, Maryann Sturdivant of Birmingham, Ala., Vera Bales (Lonnie) of Milledgeville, Jennett Florian (Fran) of Marietta and Gail Smith (Bill) of Milledgeville; four grandchildren, Austin and Jordan Spear of Milledgeville, Mackenzie and Hudson Spear of Locust Grove; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
