Crawford Boswell Jr.

MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. Crawford O. Boswell Jr., 74, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014.  Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, March 1, 2014 in the Voice of Truth Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Terry Sark officiating.

Mr. Boswell was a native of Greenwood, S.C. and had made his home in Irwinton. He was the son of the late Crawford O. Boswell Sr. and the late Essie Guest Boswell and was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Rousey, and the mother of his children, Sylvia Cowart Boswell. He was the Owner of Georgia Mower Equipment, was involved with Mustard Seed Ministries, Coast for Christ Ministries in Ghana, West Africa, and was a member of Voice of Truth.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Benton Boswell of Irwinton; sons, Kevin (Tammie) Boswell of Homerville and Brian Boswell of Smryna, Tenn.; grandchildren, Alicia, Kelsey, Jada, Joseph and Jacob Boswell; brother, Wayne Boswell; and sisters, Linda Quates, Joanne Boswell and Mary Haulk.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the donors hospice of choice, the MDS Society or Mustard Seed Ministries. The family also requests that everyone become a blood donor with the American Red Cross in Memory of Mr. Boswell.
