MILLEDGEVILLE —  

Charles Harrison Ginn, 85, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. 

Mr. Ginn was born in Perry, Fla. and was raised in Abbeville. He had made his home in Milledgeville since the early 1950s and was retired from the Medical Records Department at Central State Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hewlett Ginn, and was a member of Hardwick Baptist Church. 

Survivors include two sons, Cary Ginn and David Ginn both of Milledgeville; a sister, Helen Pope of Abbeville; a grandchild, Angel Ginn Bridges; nieces and nephew, Judy Roberts, Memorie Lee, Keema Browning, Shrman Dunn, Susan Hawkins, Debra Hawkins and Michael Hawkins. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
