Mary Sue Peavy Rumsey

MILLEDGEVILLE — Mary Sue Peavy Rumsey, 94, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday May 17, 2014, at Baldwin Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. W. C. Bloodworth officiating.

Mrs. Rumsey was born in Washington County but lived most of her life in Milledgeville. She was retired from J.P. Stevens and Forstman with more than 40 years of service.

Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Clark of Gordon; sister, Ruth Woodard of Ivey; four grandchildren, Richard Clark, Stacey Pettigrew, Sherry Hartman and David Peavy; eight great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Bert Peavy, also survive.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 p.m. until 1:30     at Moores Funeral Home.
