Linda D. 'Turkey' Harris obit

MILLEDGEVILLE — Homegoing services celebrating the life of Mrs. Linda D. 'Turkey' Harris will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013, at noon at The Chapel Of All Faiths 252 Swint Avenue, Milledgeville.

The interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Park. Remains will be placed in state at 11 a.m. until service time.

Linda was a devoted and very faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church. She served as an usher as well as coordinating and planning different church events.

The class of 1970 were blessed to have her as class representative planning an upcoming class reunion.

On Thursday, June 27, 2013, our beloved Linda was called home. She leaves memories that will forever linger in the hearts of her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Charles A. Harris Sr.; daughters, Keela (Marcello) Hurt of Milledgeville, Natasha (Ketrick) White of Macon; a son, Charles T. Harris of Milledgeville; one sister, Doris E. Fraley of Milledgeville; brothers, James H. (Theresa) Fraley of Milledgeville, Tommy C.(Winnie) Fraley of Sierra Vista, Ari; David (Malinda) Fraley of Chapel Hill, S.C.; and Darrell L. Fraley of Milledgeville; aunts, Gladys Fraley, Kattie Mae Fraley, Ruby Fraley and Lizzie Nelson; uncles, George Nelson, David Nelson, and Dan Nelson; dedicated friends, Bernice Renfroe and Eunice Bradley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
