Mary Douglas

MILLEDGEVILLE — Homegoing services for Mary Birton Douglas of Milledgeville will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Union Baptist Church, 720 N. Clark St., Milledgeville. Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the interment following at Bone Cemetery.

Mary departed this life, Monday, May 27, 2013. She was a devoted member of Union Baptist Church until her health began to decline. She is survived by one son, Victor S. Douglas Jr., and a beautiful granddaughter, Arihanna Grace Douglas; three sisters, Velma B. Moore of Lizella, Lois Birton, Juanita Reeves; a brother, Charles (Mary Ann) Birton, all of Milledgeville and a loving host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Eula Mae Birton.
