Charlene Culpepper Carpenter

MILLEDGEVILLE — Charlene Culpepper Carpenter passed away Monday, April 14, 2014.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Carpenter was a native and resident of Milledgeville. She was a retired employee of Central State Hospital. Mrs. Carpenter was preceded in death by her parents, James Oliver and Louise Tisdale Culpepper, and her husband, Kenneth W. Carpenter. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Selia Geeter (Shane) of Milledgeville; son, Alvin Booth (Ann) of Atlanta; five grandchildren, Kristen Geeter, Kelly Geeter, Jerred Booth, Holly Meier and Al Booth.

The family would like to especially thank the caregivers and Serenity Hospice for all their love and support.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 at Moores Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Acoustic Neuroma Association, 600 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 108, Cumming, Ga. 30041 or to Serenity Hospice, 2601 N. Columbia St., Suite F, Milledgeville, Ga. 31061.
