MILLEDGEVILLE — Peggy Jo Ayers Riner, 80, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Nipper officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Riner was a native of Cornelia, Ga., but had made her home in Milledgeville since 1958. She was a retired nurse, having worked at ORMC for 35 years. She was a founding member of Pathfinders Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Joan Glass and her husband David of Redmond, Wash,; Judy Hutchins and husband Tony of Wirtz, Va.;  Jason Riner and wife Angela of Milledgeville; six grandchildren: Scott Hutchins and wife Ashley of Phoenix, Ariz.; Lewis Hutchins of Washington, D.C.; Wesley Hutchins of Wirtz, Va.; Travis Riner, Rebecca Riner and Christopher Riner, all of Milledgeville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Pathfinders Christian Church or to the Willard Riner Baseball Scholarship Fund at Georgia College & State University.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8PM at Moores Funeral Home.
