Robert Anthony Jackson

MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. Robert Anthony Jackson, 68, passed away on May 2, 2014.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Kittle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Jackson was a native of Walton County and had lived in Milledgeville since 1958. He had retired from Central State Hospital and was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Lee Todd Wright Jackson, and his parents, Mr. A.P. Jackson and Mrs. Ada Bell Partee Jackson. He was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church.

Survivors include his brothers, William Jackson of Covington, Jimmy Jackson of Atlanta and Henry Jackson (Delilah) of Conyers; sister, Ms. Mildred Miller of Plant City, Fla.; step-children, Virginia "Jennie" Butts Baxter and Danny (Linda) Butts of Milledgeville and Gary (Paula) Butts of Tignall; and special friend, Lily Brake; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Grove Methodist Church Building Fund.
