MILLEDGEVILLE — Mrs. Leonora Spivey "Baby" Arnold, 91, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Lee County Health Care.

Her memorial service was Monday, April 1, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Home.

There will be a visitation Wednesday, April 3 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home  in Milledgeville.

Born in Eatonton, Mrs. Arnold had lived in Albany since 1951. She had worked at the Albany Chamber of Commerce from 1988 to 1994. Mrs. Arnold was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church, an avid golfer and bridge player. She was a member of the Albany Charity League, Radium Springs Country Club, Doublegate Country Club where she was part of the Women's Golf Assocation.

Mrs. Arnold served on the Board of the Red Cross and the American Cancer Society and had lived at Westwood Apartments, Century Pines and Evergreen Assisted Living before moving to Lee County Health Care.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Hargrove and Elizabeth Holt Spivey; son, William Howard "Bill" Arnold; brothers, Col. Paul Holt Spivey, Frank Holt Spivey; sister, Elizabeth Spivey "Yip" Hanner; nephew. Dick Hanner.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Frank Spivey Arnold of Greensboro, Ga., and his children, Lt. Col. Frank Spivey Arnold Jr. and wife Robin, Shepard Air Force Base, Texas and their children, Hannah, Royce, William and Amy, daughter, Sue Macleod Phelps and husband Mark of Monroe, Ga., their daughter, Molly; daughter in law, Mrs. William Howard (Linda) Arnold of Dalton, Ga., and their son Reid; nephews, Holt Spivey of Eatonton and his son, Jared of Eatonton; Bob and Linda Hanner of Parrott, Ga., and their sons, Rob Hanner and wife Susan of Fairhope, Ala., their sons, Trace and Max, Jeff Hanner and wife Julie, of Parrott; Matt Hanner of Albany, Ga.; Dick Hanner's daughter, Kathleen Hart and husband Brian of Spanish Fort, Ala., and their children, Haley and Will.
