Sterling Hall obit

MILLEDGEVILLE — Celebration of life services for Mr. Sterling Hall Jr. of Milledgeville, Ga., will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Services will convene at 1 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 142 Mt. Sinai Road, Sandersville, Ga.The interment will follow at Gum Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Remains will be placed in state at noon until the hour of service.

Sterling was a devoted member of Gum Hill Baptist Church until his health started to decline. He was member of the church choir.

Sterling was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling Hall Sr. and Willie Mae Baker Hall.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Mrs. Christine Harden Hall of Milledgeville; five daughters Marilynn Hall, Shorne (Clyde) Robinson, Angela Hall, Penny Sherman, all of Milledgeville, and Callie (Louis) Pounds of Gray; 11 sisters, four brothers, a special grandson, George Otis HoganJr.; devoted friend Ronnie Butts; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Peoples Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
