MILLEDGEVILLE — Miriam Faye Ussery, 65, of Glenn Road died Friday, Nov. 23, 2013 at a local hospital.

The family greeted friends Sunday at the residence.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home and she was interred at the Georgia Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Mrs. Ussery was born Jan. 26, 1948, in Milledgeville and was the daughter of the late Oscar McCoy and Marian Estelle Smith McCoy. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ussery is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Albert Ray Ussery; daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Lee Martin Jr. and Jessica Rena Ussery; grandchildren, Brandon Mathews, Dylan Mathews, Dalton Mathews, Ansleigh Mathews, Emma Grace Mathews, Hunter Leigh Martin, Erica Martin and Lee Martin II; brothers, Ronnie McCoy, Gene McCoy and Neil McCoy; sisters, Barbara Garland and Kay Barker.
