Eunice Herringdine Davis The Union-Recorder Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Herringdine Davis, age 82, will be conducted, 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, in Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private in West View Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Davis was a native and lived most of her life in Milledgeville. She was the daughter of the late William Thomas Herringdine and Addie Beatrice Brookins Jordan and the widow of the late Homer Davis. Mrs. Davis retired from Central State Hospital where she worked as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Davis was a Baptist. Survivors include a son, Ken Davis of Grantville; a grandson, Bayne Davis of Jacksonville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Nolen Davis. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Resident Activity Fund at Chaplinwood Nursing Home, 325 Allen Memorial Drive, Milledgeville, GA 31061.
