Mamie Gilmore The Union-Recorder Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Gilmore, will be held at noon, Wednesday, Dec. 3, from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater’s Funeral Home with interment to follow at Galilee Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilmore entered into rest on Wednesday in a local hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Shirley Flowers of Milledgeville; three grandsons; great-grandchildren; sisters, Ms. Bessie Lewis, Ms. Edna Daughtery, both of Milledgeville, Ms. Dorothy Flagg of Atlanta, and Ms. Annie Mae Scott of Elizabeth, N.J.; brothers, Mr. Benjamin Andrews, Mr. Johnny Andrews, both of Milledgeville, and Mr. James L. Andrews of Atlanta; and a host of other relatives. Friends may visit the family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Fowler, 450 Forest Road. Slater’s Funeral Home Inc. has charge of arrangements.
