Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at 11 a.m., in the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater’s Funeral Home Inc. with the burial to follow in Fishing Creek Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Mr. Anthony Wiley and Mr. Nehmiah Taylor, both of Atlanta; mother, Mrs. Daisy Mae Davis of Sparta; one grandchild; four brothers, Mr. David Wesley Davis Jr. of Macon, Mr. Cager Davis, Mr. Alanzo Davis, both of Sparta, and Mr. Roger Davis of Brooksville, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. Eula Bell Warren, Ms. Teresa Davis, and Ms. Katherine Davis, all of Sparta, Mrs. Anna Bailey of Milledgeville, and Ms. Eunice Davis of Macon; and a host of other relatives also survive her. Friends may visit the family at the home of Mrs. Daisy Mae Davis, at 5512 Friendship Nebo Road, of Sparta. Slater’s Funeral Home Inc. has charge of arrangements.
