Memorial services for Mrs. Marjorie Louise Boydston Parmley, age 86, of Milledgeville, will be Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 2, 4 p.m., at the Northside Baptist Church, with Dr. Jerry Pickard officiating. The family will receive friends at the church after the service.

Mrs. Parmely was a native of Sayre, Oklahoma, and grew up in Western Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Roy G. and Pearl Chambers Boydston. She was the widow of the Late Lt. Col. G.W. “Tex” Parmely. Mrs. Parmely was a homemaker and served with her husband across America, in Europe, Asia and Taiwan, and made her home in Milledgeville since 1990. Mrs. Parmley was predeceased by a son, Mike Parmley. Mrs. Parmley attended Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include, sons, Dr. Dennis Parmely and wife Julie of Milledgeville, Pat Parmely and wife Paula of Houston, Texas; grandchildren include, McCall  Parmley, Heather Hammon, Amanda Norris and Zak Parmley; great-grandchildren include, Ava Hammon and Madison Parmely.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Northside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1001 N. Jefferson St., Milledgeville, GA 31061
