Services for Mr. Harry Thomas Taylor, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, in Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville with the Rev. Ross Cooper officiating.
Interment with military honors will follow in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home to receive friends from 12:30 until the service hour.
Mr. Taylor was a native of Baldwin County. He lived in Macon for a number of years and had lived in McDonough for the past 19 years. He was retired from Georgia Power Company and was currently employed with G.T.C. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of Bloomfield Gardens Baptist Church in Macon.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Dominy Taylor of McDonough; daughter, Amy Taylor (David C.) Stanley of Lizella; sons, Matthew Ray Taylor and Mark Taylor, both of McDonough; granddaughter, Lillian Brooke Stanley; sisters, Broadus Ann Barker of Jones County, Linda Comer of Westmoreland, Tenn.; and brother, Douglas Taylor of Camilla.
Family requests in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy be made to Griffin Experimental Gardens, 1109 Experiment St., Griffin, GA 30223.
