8:30 a.m.: The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Convention and Visitors Bureau holds a board meeting at the CVB offices.
Noon: The Grumman Retiree Club Peach Pit Chapter meets at Golden Corral.
12:45 p.m.: The Milledgeville Kiwanis Club meets at the Milledgeville Country Club. Visitors are welcome to the program and to lunch with a club
sponsor.
1 p.m.: The Eatonton Duplicate Bridge Club, an official member of the American Contract Bridge League, meets at the Eatonton Performing Arts Center on Madison Avenue in Eatonton. Come with a partner or e-mail Pat Turney at turney@plantationcable.net for a possible partner match.
1:45 p.m.: The Nancy Hart Chapter NSDAR holds a wreath laying ceremony in commemoration of the signing of the Treaty of Limits between the United States and the Creek Indian Nation signed by Thomas Jefferson. The event will be held at Fort Wilkinson just past the Wood Building on Vinson Highway. The public is invited to attend. Call (706) 473-9775 for more info.
3 p.m.: The Nancy Hart Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, meets at the Milledgeville Country Club. The afternoon tea is at 2:45 p.m.
4:30 p.m.: Blandy Hills Elementary School Council meets in the Blandy Hills Elementary Media Center.
6 p.m.: Relay For Life of Baldwin County holds its “Quest for the Cure” kickoff at Northside Baptist Church. Dinner and fun will be provided along with information about Relay For Life.
7 p.m.: The Sweet Georgia Sound Sweet Adeline Chorus meets at Vineville Christian Towers to practice, socialize and sing. It is for women only. (478) 932-5387
7 p.m.: The monthly meeting of the Heart of Georgia Philatelic Society will be held at the Warner Robins Recreation Center, 800 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins. The meeting is open to all stamp collectors. For more information, please call (478) 953-6217.
7:30 p.m.: The Baldwin County chapter of the NAACP meets at Flagg Chapel Baptist Church.
8 p.m.: Georgia College Music Therapy students hold a drumming circle in Terrell Hall Room 122. The circle offers a time of connection and closeness as well as provides an opportunity to escape from the pressures of day-to-day life. The event is open to the community. (404) 660-0884
