B. Allen “Chip” Dominy Jr., passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2009. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home.  Burial will be at 4 p.m. at Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton.

“Chip” was formerly of Tifton but had made his home in Milledgeville since 1990. He had worked at Frito-Lay for 11 years in a part-time capacity and was very proud of his job.

“Chip” was a special, gentle person whose passions in life were family, playing golf and sports in general. His loves include feeding birds, geese and others in his own back yard.

“Chip” is survived by his father, B. Allen Dominy Sr., of Milledgeville; a brother Jay Mallette of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Andrea Mallette of Milledgeville; and grandmother, Mrs. Nell B. Hawkins of Dublin.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to MDA or the donor’s favorite charity.

The family will receive friends from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral hour Wednesday.
