— Memorial Services for Mrs. Mary Roberts Peck, age 90, of Milledgeville will be conducted Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at 3:30 p.m., in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Neely officiating. Interment will be private. The family will be at the funeral home to receive friends Friday from 3 until the service hour.
Mrs. Peck was a native of Athens, having lived in Augusta for most of her adult life and moving to Milledgeville in 2000. She was the daughter of the late Eddie and Minnie Dickson Barrett. She was preceded in death by husbands Lawrence Bruce Roberts and Calvin Peck and son Steven Roberts.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Michael (Jill) Roberts of Milledgeville; longtime companion, Edwin Solano of Augusta; grandchildren, Peter, Joseph and Samuel Roberts, all of Milledgeville; and sister, Geneva Hughey of Phenix, Ala.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, GA 31210 or the Chard Wray Memorial Food Pantry at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 220 S. Wayne St., Milledgeville, GA 31061.
