— Johnie Willie Jackson Smith, age 97, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at West View Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Hargrove officiating.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Wilkinson County but made her home in Baldwin County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents John E. and Allie Collins Jackson, her siblings Texie Johnson, Ruth Marshall and Ralph Parker “Slats” Jackson, and a grandson Jamey Smith.
Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Smith (H.J. Lord Jr.) of Toomsboro; a grandchild, Tron Smith of Milledgeville; and a niece, Ann Bazemore of Warner Robins.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
