Wilton Jack Bache, 60, of Pine Circle, won the victory over cancer and went home to Jesus on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008.
Services will be held Sunday Oct. 5, 2008, at 3 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church in McIntyre. Burial will be in the Bentley Cemetery. The Rev. Roger Browher Jr. will officiate.
Mr. Bache, a native of Washington County, was the son of the late Epps Bache. He was a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. He retired with 35 years from Engelhard Corporation. Mr. Bache was mayor of McIntyre for 12 years and was currently employed with Martin's General Contracting.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Holton Bache; his children, Arlene Bache of McIntyre, Heath and Tammy Bache of Toomsboro, Suesonne and Tony Bentley of Toomsboro, Aaron and Melissa Bache of McIntyre, Chris and Teresa Bache of Milledgeville, Tony and Kelley Bache of Ivey, Max and Kelli Bache of McIntyre; his mother, Betty Ree Wiggins Bache; 12 grandchildren, Will Bache, Jewleeana Bache, Kayla Bentley, Heidi Bentley, Megan Bache, Madison Bache, Carson Bache, Kaitlyn Bache, Kourtney Bache, Hunter Bache, Logan Bache, Landon Bache; brothers, Terry Bache of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Hyatt Bache of Toomsboro; sister, Regina Register of McIntyre.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Calvary Baptist Church in McIntyre.
Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home in gordon has charge of the arrangements.
