Gladys L. Campbell passed away Monday morning, June 30, 2008, at the home of her daughter. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Wrightsville to the late Napoleon Benion Miller and Laura (Smith) Miller. She was a graduate of Adrian High School in Adrian and received an associate degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins and a former member and Sunday School teacher at Sinclair Baptist Church in Milledgeville. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Donald E. Campbell of Bonaire, daughter, Jeanne Scarboro of Bonaire, sons, Donald Ned Campbell of Kapolei, Hawaii, Mark Allan Campbell of Warner Robins, brothers, Roy Miller of Warner Robins, James Poole of Scott, sister, Lillian Mimbs of Soperton and seven grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make a donation to Vista Care at 750 Baconsfield Drive, #115, Macon, GA 31211 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Georgia Regional Office at 277 Martin Luther King Blvd., Macon, GA 31201, in memory of Mrs. Campbell.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
