The holidays are a time to be joyful but that joy can quickly turn to sadness if the rules of the road are not obeyed.
Georgia State Patrol will keep an eye out for speeders, impaired or aggressive drivers and dangerous traffic conditions, said Larry Schnall, GSP public information officer.
“Every state trooper available will be working throughout the holiday season starting Christmas weekend and on through the New Year’s season,” Schnall said.
There will be rolling patrols and sobriety checkpoints.
“Some will be announced and some will be unannounced,” Schnall said.
