Milledgeville escaped any significant damage caused by Friday’s severe weather, but bad weather will return Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Baldwin County and as many as 67 other Georgia counties were under a tornado watch until 4 p.m. Friday before the severe weather moved into South and North Carolina.
Baldwin County 911 Dispatch Office reported a few scattered areas of minor flooding, and once transportation officials were dispatched to the scenes, the flooding had subsided.
