The 2007 American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Baldwin County is now less than one week away, and teams are still raising money for the event.

Georgia College and State University organization Alpha Psi Omega’s Relay for Life team sponsored an Easter egg hunt on GCSU’s front campus on Friday while jewelry, bath and body products were sold in the Central State Hospital Auditorium on Thursday and Friday.

Meanwhile everything from fish lunches to car washes to yard sales have been held in the past two months to raise funds for the event.

Each year the Baldwin County Relay For Life, held at Walter B. Williams park for the past several years, has had a theme to help encourage the public to raise funds and enjoy the spirits of helping in the fight against cancer and encouraging survivors, which the ACS and Relay bring together.
