Emily McCullough had a hot bat on Saturday, leading GMC going 3-for-3 with her first home run of the season in game one and going 2-for-4 with a walk in game two.
On the mound, Creamer led the charge going four innings and picking up the win in game two.
“I still think there’s always room for improvement from top to bottom,” Mayhue said. “We’re still having to move some people around.”
GMC will look to make a mark in the conference this season, as they begin conference play on Saturday.
“We start conference play this Saturday. I feel like we’ve got as good as shot as any,” Mayhue said. “We’ve played some teams in our conference already and had some close ball games. I think we’ll be up there at the end.”
The Lady Bulldogs will take on Gordon College Saturday, at home, beginning with game one at 1 p.m. and game two at 3 p.m.
