Last season JMA edged out the Lions 14-6, and Wall believes it will be another close game this year.
“Last year, they were in the I-offense, kind of like we run. It’s going to be interesting to see,” he said. “They’re a very talented team, and they were a very physical team last year. We know it’s going to be a heck of a ball game.”
The Trojans are hoping for better conditions this week, so they can maximize their offensive potential against Trinity Christian and improve on their season-opener.
“Obviously, hopefully the conditions are different, so we might open up a little more. Hopefully, we’re able to open the offense up a little more and utilize some of the resources we have,” Wall said. “We want to come out this week a little bit better than we did last week.”
JMA will take on the Lions at home on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
