Leading the Bulldogs’ defense up front, Parker Williams accumulated eight tackles on the night, including two tackles for a loss and a sack.
Devonta Walker also played well for GMC Prep, finishing with 6 tackles, one of which was for a loss, as well as a forced fumble and fumble recovery against the Warriors.
“Devonta Walker had a great time offensively and defensively. He had an incredible night on the defensive line,” Simpson said. “He’s a leader on the sideline. He was in the ball game and was hard charging all night long.”
Looking to find their stride next week, GMC Prep will go back to the drawing board and begin preparing for First Presbyterian Day School next week, which will also mark the school’s homecoming game.
“We’re going back to work on Monday and homecoming is next week,” Simpson said.
GMC Prep will take on the Vikings at Davenport Field on Friday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
