Smith lifts Hawks to 95-86 win over Hornets

NEW ORLEANS — The new year opened with a scene hauntingly familiar from the past for the New Orleans Hornets.

Kyle Korver added 14 points for Atlanta, which spoiled the homecoming of Hornets guard Eric Gordon.
