Carrie Goggans will be cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs come fall from the sidelines of Sanford Stadium.
Goggans, a 2005 graduate of Georgia Military College Prep, learned she made the team last week.
Gymnastics had always been a big part of Goggans’ life, so when she reached high school she decided to cheer for the GMC Bulldogs as a way to carry on the 10 years of gymnastics she had previously done.
After high school Goggans enrolled at the University of Georgia and took a year off from cheering. In her sophomore year she got back into cheering by participating on the competition cheer team at UGA. After one year of competition cheering, Goggans decided to try out for the varsity football cheering squad.
