The Baldwin High School boys’ basketball team defeated Northside-Warner Robins on Friday, winning by the score of 54-46 in overtime.
The Braves defeated Northside on Jan. 3 by the score of 70-68.
At the end of the first period, the Braves held a 6-point lead with 17-11 lead, but only managed stay four points ahead at 29-25 at the end of the second period.
After the break, Northside outscored BHS 36-33 in the third period for a 3-point lead. The Braves and Northside made point after point in the final eight minutes to end regulation time tied up at 44-44.
BHS outscored Northside 10-2 in overtime to end the game at 54-46.
Rod Moss led the Braves with 14 points. Laterrance Nelson shot for 11 points, and Dennie Milline and Donte Allen both scored 9 to help gain another win against Northside.
The Braves, coached by Lenwood May, return to action Feb. 1, hitting the road to take on Upson-Lee. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Baldwin defeated Upson-Lee 51-45 on Jan. 8.
