Library invites youth to meet Santa

MILLEDGEVILLE — The Mary Vinson Memorial Library kicked off its annual Christmas program for area children Monday at which Mr. and Mrs. Claus made a visit.

Youth got into the holiday spirit by listening during storytime, watching a Disney movie, singing along to popular Christmas tunes, and enjoying a puppet show.

‘This is a fun, festive way to celebrate the holidays at the library,’ said Sarah Hamil, library outreach coordinator.

Children can meet Santa from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18.

For more information about the children’s program, call the local library at (478) 452-0677.
