MILLEDGEVILLE — Baldwin County public school students are in the midst of preparing to display a musical celebration of Christmas for the community during their fifth annual combined concert of Carols and Candlelight.

The event is slated at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Baldwin Fine Arts Center, featuring elementary school honors choir, Oak Hill Middle School band and choir, and Baldwin High School band and choir.

“We will also have an art display from Baldwin County art classes, including Creekside Elementary School, Eagle Ridge Elementary School and Baldwin High School,” said Clint Raburn, fine arts director for the local school system.

Doors to the community concert will open at 6:30 p.m. Donations of $2 are requested to help cover production costs.

Around 400 students are ready to spread holiday cheer and perform since rehearsals began at their individual schools in October.
